There are many paths in life and sometimes we take the one less traveled. If you aren’t familiar with it, I’m reminded of a famous poem by Robert Frost. This less traveled path I’ve taken has changed a lot of things in my life. I’ll explain more later.
I’m planning to start writing again on my blog and will start tracking again my “road” to financial independence. I haven’t been active in the community for about 6 months but I just needed a break from everyday life. I’ve read some articles from some of my favorite bloggers but haven’t been actively commenting. I hope to change this soon.
Never fear, my diligence and pursuit of financial independence are still as strong as they ever were! I am working to reconstruct my financial picture and future goals.
Stay tuned, there’s a lot more to come on AAI…
yayy!! welcome back!!!

Thanks! I saw you sold your SOUHY. I’m thinking of doing the same but I wanted to see how the dividend they plan to pay next year pans out.

AAI,
It’s good to see you back. I am looking forward to reading your posts again. It looks like you have sold off some of your portfolio. I have been considering doing the same thing over the past month or so. Right now I guess I am going to just coast a bit making smaller purchases for a while.

MDP,
Thanks bud. I did sell off a little of my portfolio to pay for some personal expenses that came up. I’m working on getting everything updated to current soon. We haven’t had a major market correction in a LONG time so I think smaller purchases while building up a little cash may not be a bad idea.
I noticed you have been just killing it! Your forward income and the amount of monthly purchases you are making is just incredible. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for stopping by!
AAI,
I’m waiting.

Hey Jason,
I have taken a little bit of a new direction but my main focus will still be DG investing for now. I just have to get back on track.
I’ve stopped to read some of your posts but haven’t had much time for commenting lately. You’ve produced a tremendous amount of content. Your progress is amazing and I’m really happy for you that the full-time writing has worked out so well. Your blog brings a tremendous amount of value and motivation to people.

Welcome back. I had to take the first half of the year off from blogging as well, due to family medical issues. I look forward to seeing what you have in store for the second half of the year.

I agree, its been tough to keep my blog up to date as well. Been stuck remodeling a newly purchased rental property (2 hours away plus still have full time job.) which has been taking all of my spare time. The things we do to produce cashflow =)
