That’s right, I just updated my Net Worth page and I’ve crossed the $500,000 mark! What’s really incredible about this is, that just 5 years ago, I had a net worth under $50,000. I’ve made huge strides in the last couple of years since I’ve been a dividend growth investor.
It’s also my birthday today which makes this even a bigger milestone. In just 6 years from now I want to be able to retire or semi-retire and do what I want to and when I want to.
So, it’s not time to fully celebrate yet, as I’m still working and have a long ways yet to go. However, It’s nice to celebrate the smaller milestones while on my journey to FI.
I appreciate anyone following me along on this journey and I plan to continue to post updates as usual.
Congrats AAI!! Thats a fantastic rate of progress. Keep it up and a happy birthday.
Roadmap2Retire,
Thanks! I just hope I can keep up this kind of pace.
Thanks for stopping by!
Wow Congratulation!!! That’s a great milestone to pass. Happy Birthday to you!! .
Hi FFdividend,
Thanks alot! I also had a great birthday. I appreciate the support.
Take care!
Congratulations AAI! Really looking forward to following along the next six years watching you grow your investments and achieve your dream. Next stop, seven figures.
writing2reality,
Thanks. I still have a long ways to go but I’ve gotten off to a nice start so far.
Thanks for following along!
Grats AAI, continue setting and beating your goals! With the rate of growth your investments/portfolios are experiencing, it won’t take too long to reach the 7 figure mark.
I also wanted to mention I like the previous pic of the sphinx~
Thanks IE.
The 7 figure mark will be a huge achievement. I just hope I can keep up this pace. I’m glad you liked the picture. Europe is an incredible place and I hope I can do more traveling once I reach FI.
Take care!
Congratulations on the net worth milestone and happy birthday!
Thanks DGM!
Congratulations from Sweden!
Thanks Christoffers! It’s nice to see my audience stretches to other countries. I’d love to visit Sweden some day.
Take care!
Happy Birthday! Color me a bit jealous.
Thanks Wallet. You are off to a nice start yourself so keep it up on your end and you’ll be joining me in FI.

Thanks Bryan. I appreciate the support. Since you seem to already be in FI, I’d be curious to see what kind of investments you were into.
Take care!
AAI,
Wow! Congrats on the huge milestone. That’s some serious coin, my friend. You’ve obviously worked quite hard to get yourself here, and good fortune smiles on you. Keep up the great work!
Happy birthday. Seems like you already received quite a wonderful gift.
Best wishes!
Hi DM,
Thanks my friend. It was blogs like yours that really helped kick-start my interest in DG investing. It’s certainly nice to know I’m on a path to FI and I am seeing progress. I look forward to seeing higher and higher monthly dividend amounts rolling in.
Thanks for stopping by!
Congrats on the birthday and the milestone. You’re obviously working hard on your portfolio which is very impressive. Keep up the awesome work!
Hi Anonymous,
Thanks for following along on my journey. I appreciate the support!
Happy birthday and congratulations! That’s a great milestone to reach. Cheers to the next 0.5 mil.
Hi FerdiS,
Thanks! You are building your portfolio quickly yourself. Keep it up and we’ll both be millionaires soon enough.
That’s so awesome, congrats man!! I’m around that mark too, but my number is highly volatile since I’m using Zillow to track property value.
Thanks FI Fighter. I think what you’re doing with rental properties is awesome. Keep up the good work on your end too. I’d like to add a third rental next year but we’ll see.
Cheers!
And HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Have a great one!
Thanks!
I am changing grey of envy here!!
Well congrats!
I am only a tenth of a millionaire 🙁
But you know what? Your example is inspiring me for more aggressive approach – saving harder and invest better! So thanks for sharing!
Thanks Martin. You are making nice progress yourself. Keep it up and you’ll be joining me in FI.
